Variostone produces in its atelier in the North of Italy traditional marble mosaics for projects worldwide. With a contemporary eye, we use artisan techniques to create a wide range of mosaics from traditional geometric patterns to completely bespoke drawn like artistic mosaics.
We use deux manufacturing techniques to make our mosaics. We use specialised machines for repetitive, and simple patterns, and our artisans for all artistic patterns.
There are big price differences between these two techniques. Typically machine made designs are between £150 and £400 per m2, depending on design, quantities and stones, and artistic design are around £2000 per m2. Note that those guides are ex VAT and delivery.
